Licensed Psychologist | Sports Psychology | Perinatal Mental Health

As a licensed psychologist with a Doctorate in Psychology, I’ve dedicated my career to understanding and nurturing mental health and wellbeing across various life stages and contexts. I’m here to guide you through the intricate pathways of the human mind, empowering you to unlock your full potential and thrive in every aspect of your life. My passion lies in three key areas:

Overall Wellbeing

True well-being encompasses the integration of mind, body, and spirit. Beyond addressing specific challenges and current mental health symptoms, I believe in utilizing a holistic approach to treatment that promotes overall healing and flourishing. Through a blend of psychotherapy, mindfulness practices, and positive psychology techniques, I empower my clients to embrace self-compassion and cultivate a deep sense of purpose and fulfillment in their lives.

Sport Psychology

Athletic performance is not just about physical prowess; it’s also deeply intertwined with mental strength and emotional well-being. Whether you’re a professional athlete striving for peak performance or a recreational enthusiast seeking balance and fulfillment, I provide tailored strategies to enhance your mental game. I work with Division 1 collegiate athletes, National competitors and athletes aiming to go Pro. I’ve worked with individuals/teams in Track and Field/ Cross Country, Soccer, Football, Basketball, Hockey, Figure Skating, Lacrosse, Swim and Dive, Waterpolo, Tennis, Golf, Dance, Softball, Baseball and Volleyball and many more. From managing performance anxiety to managing injury, to building confidence and improving performance, I’m here to help you unleash your full potential on and off the field.

Perinatal Mental Health

Bringing new life into the world is a profound experience, but it can also be accompanied by a range of emotional challenges. I specialize in supporting individuals and families during the perinatal period, offering compassionate care and evidence-based interventions to navigate issues such as postpartum depression, anxiety, substance use and adjustment difficulties. My goal is to create a safe space where mothers, fathers, and families can explore their emotions, build resilience, and foster healthy bonds with their little ones.

Approach

My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy and compassion. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship as a catalyst for change and growth. I spend time getting to know your unique life story, understand your context and intersectional identities and pull from various evidence-based interventions to meet your specific needs. Together, we’ll work to identify your strengths, clarify your goals, and develop practical strategies to overcome obstacles and live a more fulfilling life. Your well-being is my priority, and I’m here to support you every step of the way. I invite you to take the first step towards healing. Please feel free to reach out to schedule a confidential consultation. Together, we can navigate life’s challenges and unlock the limitless potential that lies within you.
