Olivia Papakyrikos, MA, LMHC, Licensed Clinical Sport Psychology Consultant
As a former collegiate field hockey player, Olivia faced various challenges during her athletic career. As she navigated her recovery from injury, she became aware of the various mental and physical obstacles that accompany recovering from an injury and utilized supports to tackle these barriers. Her experience as an athlete and desire to help others motivated Olivia to earn her Master’s in Counseling with a concentration in Sport Psychology from Boston University.
Olivia believes in a collaborative approach and will work alongside you to help you achieve your goals. She strives to create a safe and supportive space for you to share your own experiences and challenges. She utilizes a solution-focused approach while integrating strength-based, CBT, DBT and Mindfulness interventions. Olivia incorporates techniques such as deep breathing, imagery and progressive muscle relaxation in her work.
